1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sefti website, apps and services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Sefti provides a privacy-first school transport platform, including trip scheduling, live vehicle tracking during active trips, verified boarding/drop notifications to authorised recipients, and related administration tools for schools, providers, drivers and parents/guardians.

The Service supports and informs school transport operations; it does not itself supervise the vehicle, the driver, or the child. Responsibility for the safe operation of transport remains with the transport provider, driver and school.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• •You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
• •You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• •Accounts are role-based (parent, driver, school/provider admin); you may access only the data your role permits.
• •Schools/providers are responsible for ensuring they have the authority and consents needed to add children and guardians to the platform.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• •Access, copy or share data you are not authorised to access.
• •Use the Service to harass, endanger, or violate the privacy of any person, including children.
• •Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• •Use the Service in breach of any applicable law or regulation.

5. Payments

Where paid features or subscriptions are offered, applicable fees, billing cycles and payment terms will be presented at the point of purchase. Fees are payable through the supported payment methods, and taxes may apply.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data — including children’s data — with privacy-by-design principles. Please review it alongside these Terms.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Live tracking and notifications depend on device, network and third-party conditions and may be delayed or unavailable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sefti shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from the operation of a vehicle or the supervision of a child, which remain the responsibility of the transport provider, driver and school.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
